About SpellsBee.net
A handcrafted, lightning-fast word puzzle you can enjoy every day - and as much as you like in Unlimited mode. SpellsBee.net is 100% free and will always be.
Our Mission
We built SpellsBee.net for people who love words and quick brain breaks. The goal is simple: deliver a premium-feeling game with thoughtful polish that loads instantly, plays beautifully on mobile, and respects your time and privacy. There are no paywalls, accounts, or distractions - just a clean interface and a satisfying loop of discovery, learning, and progress.
Built with Next.js and modern React. Instant feedback, subtle animations, and a responsive layout make every tap feel right.
Tackle the daily puzzle or practice indefinitely with new randomized letter sets. Perfect for a quick warm-up or a long session.
Progress is saved locally in your browser; we don't require accounts or personal data. Your play history stays on your device.
What Makes It Different
SpellsBee.net focuses on the essentials. The interface stays out of your way, typography is readable, and performance is tuned so the puzzle always feels snappy. When you find a pangram, confetti celebrates the moment; when you share a result, the formatted score is ready to paste. Rankings give you a sense of momentum, while hints and two-letter breakdowns help you learn patterns rather than memorizing lists.
Under the hood, we use server components where it makes sense, cache static assets for speed, and generate datasets that keep gameplay consistent. We test core logic and UI flows so changes don't break what you love.
Free Forever
SpellsBee.net is a passion project. We believe classic word games should be accessible to everyone, so the site is free and will remain that way. If you enjoy it, share it with a friend - that's the best support you can give.
Accessibility & Performance
We aim for excellent color contrast, keyboard navigation, and semantic HTML so the experience works well with assistive technologies. Fonts are served via next/font to avoid render blocking, and Tailwind helps keep CSS tiny. The result is a page that opens fast and stays smooth even on budget devices.
Roadmap
- Expanded statistics with streaks, best times, and learned letter pairs.
- Optional color themes for better readability in different lighting.
- Periodic vocabulary spotlights and mini-guides on strategy.
