    Privacy Policy

    Privacy in plain language

This policy explains what stays in your browser, what third-party services may process, and the choices available when you use SpellsBee.net. You can play without creating an account.

    Last updated July 25, 2026

    At a glance

    • No game account is required. SpellsBee.net does not ask you to create a player profile before using the Daily or Unlimited puzzle.
    • Puzzle progress is stored in your browser. Found words, scores, settings, streaks, and practice statistics are kept through browser storage on the device you use.
    • Service providers may process technical data. Hosting, measurement, security, and advertising services can receive information needed to provide their services.
    • Messages are voluntary. If you contact us, we receive the email address and information you choose to include so we can respond.

    Data stored on your device

SpellsBee.net uses browser storage to remember game progress and preferences. Depending on the features you use, this can include found words for Daily, Archive, and Unlimited puzzles; scores and rank milestones; Daily and Unlimited statistics; the current Unlimited puzzle; theme, sound, volume, and haptic preferences; and whether certain guidance has already been shown.

This gameplay information is intended to remain in your browser and is not tied to a SpellsBee account. It may disappear if you clear site data, use private browsing, change browsers or devices, or if the browser removes stored data.

    Analytics, hosting, and advertising

Hosting and measurement providers may process technical information such as page requests, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser or device type, referral information, performance data, and error logs. We use this information to operate, secure, and understand the site.

    Google advertising

SpellsBee.net may display ads provided by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google’s use of advertising cookies can enable it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites.

You can manage personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. Depending on your location and applicable requirements, a consent or privacy choices message may be shown before certain advertising storage or processing occurs.

Found words, puzzle scores, and local game statistics are not intentionally submitted to advertising providers as gameplay profile fields.

    Your choices and controls

    • Use the game menu to change theme, sound, volume, and supported haptic settings.
    • Clear SpellsBee.net site data in your browser to remove locally stored progress and preferences.
    • Use any consent or privacy message presented on the site to review available advertising choices.
    • Use Google Ads Settings to manage personalized advertising associated with Google.
    • Contact us to request deletion of information you previously sent directly by email.

    Security and retention

We use modern hosting and software practices intended to protect the site. No online service is completely risk-free, so you should also keep your browser and device updated.

Locally stored game data remains until it is cleared by you, removed by your browser, or replaced as the game evolves. Service providers may retain technical or advertising data according to their own policies and legal obligations. Direct messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, or address safety and legal requirements.

    Children’s privacy

SpellsBee.net is a general-audience word game and does not require a child to create a player account. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent personal information directly to us, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the product, service providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top will be revised when the policy is updated. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site where appropriate.
