Terms of use

Play fair, stay respectful

These terms explain how you can enjoy the daily and unlimited puzzles on SpellsBee.net. By continuing to use the site you agree to the rules below.

Need privacy details? Read the policy.

Acceptable use

SpellsBee.net is offered for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to reverse-engineer the game logic, automate large-scale solving, scrape the puzzle datasets, or interfere with the stability of the site. We reserve the right to throttle or block abusive traffic (for example, repeated automated requests or attempts to tamper with client-side code).

Puzzle data & ownership

All interface code, visual assets, copy, and puzzle compilations on this site are owned or licensed by the SpellsBee team. You may not redistribute the daily or unlimited datasets in bulk, host mirrors, or imply that the project is affiliated with The New York Times or its "Spelling Bee" product. Screenshots for commentary, reviews, or educational use are welcome with proper attribution.

Availability & changes

The service is provided "as is." We may change puzzles, scoring rules, or UI details at any time without notice. Maintenance windows or outages can occur, but we try to keep downtime brief. Progress is stored locally on your device, so clearing browser data or switching devices can reset your stats.

Accounts & eligibility

No account is required to play. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to email us or provide feedback. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has contacted us, let us know and we will delete the information.

Ads & monetization

We may display ads or use affiliate links in the future. Advertisers do not gain access to your gameplay data. Any ad placements will comply with Google AdSense policies and our own privacy standards. You agree not to interfere with ad delivery or attempt to spoof impressions.

Termination clause

We reserve the right to suspend or block access for any reason, including policy violations, scraping, or abusive communication. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining sections stay in effect.
